Very disappointed Moved to a new house and decided to relegate my 40″ Samsung LCD to the bedroom. Looked forward to the Philips 46″ LED thinking it was a step up. Poor delivery on Amazon ‘Prime’, took 4 days to deliver and box was burst exposing the contents, bad start !Tuned in TV and what a disappointment, even after tweaking to get the best picture and sound, it was not a patch on the Samsung. The Freeview HD was the equivalent of the SD channels on the Samsung, not even close to the clarity…
tv philips Crystal clear picture absolutly no problems with this tv at all I can only imagine the people with problems did not realise all the brilliant ways this tv has for picture and sound change well worth the money.
Great TV I bought this TV on Black Friday and I have been really impressed with it so far. The picture quality is very good and clear on both HD and SD. I have watched films, sports and documentaries and they all look good and clear. I found the UI nice and simple, it was very easy to add external devices (VM tivo box and Kindle fire HD). The TV is nice and thin with a slim bezel.I haven’t tried connecting the TV to the web so can’t comment on that part of the TV.
